Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-10-05
These terms govern your use of Alphabase (alphabase.cc). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. What the service is
Alphabase is a tool that automates funding (lending) offers on Bitfinex. You connect your own Bitfinex API key — lending needs the Margin Funding, Wallets (read) and Account History (read) permissions — and the service places, renews and reinvests funding offers on your behalf through that key.
The optional BTC features (the BTC Cycle Strategy and Buy BTC with Interest) are off by default and only act if you deliberately enable them and grant the extra API permissions they require (Orders and "Transfer between your wallets").
2. No custody of funds
Your funds stay in your own Bitfinex account. Alphabase never holds or receives your assets, and it never withdraws them or moves them out of your account — API keys with withdrawal permission are rejected. Through the API key you provide, the service places and manages funding offers, including any 30-day and 120-day offers and 2-day limit offers you place manually in your Funding wallet. If you enable an optional BTC feature, the service also buys and sells BTC with market orders and transfers funds between your own Funding and Exchange wallets.
3. No financial advice, no guaranteed returns
Nothing on this site is investment, legal or tax advice. Lending rates are set by the market and fluctuate; past rates do not guarantee future income. Lending crypto assets carries risk, including the risk of losing principal — most significantly the risk of the exchange itself. You alone decide whether, and how much, to lend.
4. Risks of the optional BTC features
The BTC Cycle Strategy and Buy BTC with Interest use your funds to actually trade BTC. Their risks are different from lending:
- BTC is volatile and these trades can lose money, including principal. Market orders also pay trading fees and slippage.
- Strategy signals come from a single data provider (CoinKarma). Errors, delays or outages in that data can make the strategy trade at a bad time, or pause it.
- Backtests and historical simulations only replay past data. They are not actual trading results and do not guarantee future performance.
- You can turn these features off at any time in Settings. Turning them off stops all automatic BTC buying and selling; BTC already bought stays in your Exchange wallet and is not sold automatically — not even at a cycle top — so whether and when to sell it is up to you. Turning the cycle strategy back on immediately rebalances the BTC it bought earlier to the model's current BTC share, which can sell some or all of it; BTC bought with interest is never sold automatically.
5. Your responsibilities
By using the service you confirm that:
- You are of legal age in your jurisdiction.
- Your Bitfinex account is yours, in good standing, and used in compliance with Bitfinex's own terms and applicable law.
- You are responsible for your Bitfinex account and for the permissions you grant on your API key. We recommend only the permissions lending needs (Margin Funding, Wallets read, Account History read), adding Orders and "Transfer between your wallets" only if you use an optional BTC feature. Never enable withdrawal permission.
- You will keep your login credentials secure.
6. Service provided as-is
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We may modify, interrupt or discontinue any part of it at any time.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Alphabase and its operator are not liable for any loss or damage arising from use of the service — including losses caused by exchange failure or insolvency, market conditions, missed or unfilled offers, BTC trading losses, errors or outages in strategy data, software errors, or downtime.
7. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access for accounts that abuse the service, violate these terms, or create risk for the service or other users. You can stop using the service at any time: delete your API key on Bitfinex (or in Settings) and the service can no longer act on your account.
8. Plans, payment and refunds
If your Bitfinex account was opened through our referral link, the service is free. Other accounts can use it during a one-time 7-day free trial — one per user and one per Bitfinex account — and after that on a paid plan.
Plans are paid in advance in USDT or USDC through our payment provider, Infini. Before each paid period ends, a renewal invoice is e-mailed to you; nothing is charged automatically. If the invoice isn't paid, the plan ends and the service stops acting on your account — existing offers and loans are left as they are. You can cancel at any time; your plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for.
Payments are non-refundable — including for lending returns or market rates, a change of mind, or an account suspended or terminated for breaching these terms. The only exception:
- If we discontinue the service, or a problem on our side keeps it from lending for you for more than 7 consecutive days, you can ask for the unused part of your plan back.
- The refund is the amount you paid minus 10 USD for each month already used (a started month counts as a full month). It is sent in the same stablecoin to an address you provide, minus the network fee.
- To request a refund, e-mail service@alphabase.cc.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version always lives at this page, and the "last updated" date above changes with it. Material changes will be announced on the site. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
